Google Art Project

Make a viritual visit at Versaille or study the art at MoMA during your lunch break

From Wikipedia:

Google Art Project is an online compilation of high-resolution images of artworks from galleries worldwide, as well as a virtual tour of the galleries in which they are housed. The project was launched on 1 February 2011 by Google, and includes works in the Tate GalleryLondon; the Metropolitan Museum of ArtNew York City; and the UffiziFlorence.[1]
The "walk-through" feature of the project uses Google's Street View technology.[2] The project includes 17 images at a resolution of 7 gigapixels (7 billion pixels).[3]

It't interesting how you can discover the museums through the "walk-through"-tool and look at the plan at the same time. And that the paintings can be studied both independently and in its context.
